| The 19th annual Whiteface Oktoberfest in Wilmington will be a two-day festival with family activities, vendors, arts and crafts, childrens rides including the popular hayride, Bavarian food, drinks, entertainment, and new this year, 60-second challenges. | Benefit ride-11:00 a.m.-Long Lake-Benefits |
| The 5th annual THE (Touch, Heal, Empower) Loop, a motorcycle ride that raises funds to help cancer patients in local treatment centers, will kick off at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion in Long Lake, riding through Newcomb, Minerva, North Creek, Indian Lake and Blue Mountain and returning to the pavilion around 1:30 p.m. There is no registration fee for this event and 100% of the pledge monies raised go to cancer patients. Riders and non-riders are encouraged to come to Mt. Sabattis Pavilion before and after the ride. Coffee and light refreshments will be offered between 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Chili, breads and desserts are served after the ride, before the drawings of the pledge, raffle and 50/50. |

| Joe Ramsey, a professional Elvis impersonator from Glens Falls, will appear at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, hosted by the Piercefield Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary.
