| The Lake Placid Public Library will host a series of free Computer Training Classes for beginners of all ages. Digital Camera Basics, part 2, (requires basic computer and Internet knowledge) will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. and will introduce students to the parts of a camera, how to use a point and shoot camera, how to transfer pictures to a computer, how to use a photo editing program and how to share your photos on Flickr. All classes are free and will be held at the Lake Placid Public Library. Class size is limited, so sign up early. Call 518-523-3200 to register or for more information.
